An Egg-strordinary Easter Weekend!

This year Easter was EGGstra special, because we had visitors. Since our good intentions to travel to Chicago and visit our great friends Franzi and Derek Carter and their two boys Collin and Philip fell through on us, they decided to dome see us over Easter weekend. Livia and David also came to see us that weekend, and we had quite a nice time. Livia is my sister-in-law, and David is her husband; my brother-in-law.

The Carter's arrived on Thursday in the afternoon while I was still at work. When we got home, we got to go out to dinner together. We went to a famous restaurant her in the Ozarks, where they have "throwed rolls", which means you had better have on your catcher's mit, because if you ask for one, they are gonna give it to you. Actually they are going to throw it to you, from across the room. It was great fun, and we had way more than we could eat.

The next day, I had to work in the morning, and Livia and David arrived that evening. We had a nice Easter dinner which consisted of Stuffed bell peppers, steamed rice, and green beans. Delicious!

But while we waited for L & D to arrive, we played with play dough.

Saturday we took the kids to the park that is a few blocks from our house, and let the kids run around. Bear Bear loves baseball and he wanted to see where they play it at. These are a few pictures of us at the park.

Finally, I can't leave out the pretty new hair color that the Easter Bunny brought Mommy.




Everyone left to go back home on Sunday, so we got to spent actualy Easter Day with just us.

Haven't had a restful weekend of that sort for a very ling time.
