Someone, (and who knows, maybe you are reading this, and know who you are) decided to surprise our family with 12 Days of Christmas. Yey!
Its anonymous, and no clues were given to figure out who our secret Santa is. In fact, the card even said that the package was sent from a remote location (sneaky little buggers!), and we were instructed not to "go poking around to try to figure out who it is from", so we won't try, but whoever you are, if you are out there....Thank you, this was a wonderful treat for our little family!
Well, of course I was at work when it came, and Momma wasn't feeling well, so she went to take a nap, everyone knows that you can't leave a huge box full of wrapped Christmas presents, unattended, with a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. Yep, you guessed it, they promptly went to unwrapping! Luckily, they only seem to have gotten one of the gifts out of order.
Here's some highlights of what has happened so far.
On the First Day of Christmas (December 14), the Mailman still had our surprise.
On the Second Day of Christmas (December 15), the Mailman relinquished the package that was being held hostage, and while Mama was sleeping, Bunny opened up some of the gifts. Now we couldn't figure out which ones came with which paper at this point, because when we interrogate her about it (even while batting our eyelashes at her), we can't get her to divulge any information. But we can say that there was a cool little foam Christmas house 3-D puzzle (and we think it was meant to be opened on December 22)

some cool little light/spinner thingys,

some homemade bead necklaces with the kids names on them,

and three Christmas music CD's (Susan Boyle, Josh Groban and Berry Christmoose).

On the Third Day of Christmas (that's today, December 16) we opened a present that had little wooden ornaments and sparkle paints for the kids to paint the oraments with.
And here is a picture of the finished product.

That just about brings us up to speed til now.
Thank you Secret Santa Family!
Hi!!
ReplyDeleteAdriane Ragan (Wilkins) here. I just found your guys' blog, and it is great to get an update on the Moore family's life! I love title, by the way...very catchy.
I hope everything is going well. I just heard you had moved to Springfield this past year.
Anyway, I just wanted to pop my head in and say "Hi!"
