Tricks & Treats; Trampolines & Tinkerbells!!

It's dress up day at gymnastics class today, since Halloween is tomorrow. Our little princess wanted to be Tinkerbell. Isn't she graceful looking. I just adore those little slippers. This outfit is sure to make her aunts proud!!!

"I'm ready to go Mommy!"

Here is a group photo of the three girls that have been in this class for a while now. That's Brooklyn on the left, Arison in the middle and Allissa. They get along really well, and are great at taking turns.

Smile once for the crowd before you take the floor!

First they had to be able to work on the low beam. They have been walking forward along lots of low beams, but this time they learned how to "back it up".

Here, Tink is learning to walk on the high beam. She also knows how to "scoop" which means to slightly bend the weight bearing leg while she dips and swings the non-weight bearing leg down along the beam, into the next step. I just couldn't convince her to do it for the video.

Here she is doing bunny hops on the beam. In my opinion, this is the hardest skill they did today. Tinkerbell seems to feel pretty sure on her feet.

And finally, here's our little fairy princess just giggling and having fun with her equally giggly little friend, Brooklyn. It's my favorite part of the class, when they just act silly, like little girls so often do. It can't be all work. After all they are only 4 yrs old. The Olympics can wait.
