The little guy arrived on July 6th, at 7:55 am. He was our smallest baby, weighing just 7 lbs 9 oz. He resembled his grandparents on his mothers side most of all, and still does really. His countenance changes based upon his expressions. Sometimes he holds his nose just right, or smiles just right or wrinkles his brow and can look a little like Mommie or Daddy, but mostly I think he looks like his Oma.

He was quite happy to get all swaddled up like this again. This look on his face makes me think that he might have been saying to himself, "Sheesh guys, what took you so long? Didn't you hear me saying 'I'm cold'?"

One of my favorite things about newborns is their stylish little stocking caps.

Here he meets Daddy for the first time.....well, for the first time without anyone poking or prodding him, that is.

And here, Mommie gets to snuggle her little prize! He likes that.....of course!

Sissy was so proud to hold her little "Baby C"!

This photo of my two little guys is one of my absolute favorite pictures in all the world. So sweet, these two!

Caden discovers he can see!

Here he is on Sissy's fifth birthday, July 28th. They share a birthday month!

Caden is now in a "flirting" stage. If you smile at him, he will smile backatcha!

Caden gets to listen to General Conference with Daddy....something Daddy never got to do with his Daddy!
You and Grit don't look like you have aged at all in the last 15 years! What a cute family!
